Extremely concerned about this. Animation is for everyone, but according to these guidelines videos surrounding animated characters are considered targeted at children?? My videos (many of which surround animated characters) are not aimed at children, they are aimed at everyone.

Does this mean that I will no longer be able to monetize my videos? I see you say that it's about intended audience and that we "know our videos best," but if there's an algorithm auto-flagging videos, how is it supposed to know my intent if it thinks all animation is for kids?

I've seen that apparently people who do not flag their videos as directed at children but are auto-flagged by the algorithm will be subject to consequence and possibly legal trouble. Is that going to happen to me if I don't flag my videos (for EVERYONE) as directed at children?

One of the most fulfilling parts of being a YouTube creator for me is engaging with my audience through comments. Am I going to lose that? And will my audience no longer be notified when I upload new videos? What is going to happen to my channel?

My concern is that even though I know that my content is targeted toward everyone and not specifically toward children, your systems will not make the same distinction. e.g. I make original songs and covers about/from my favorite animated shows, like Steven Universe. (cont.

Steven Universe is on Cartoon Network whose target audience is kids, but also has a VERY large adult following, because as I mentioned, animation is for everyone. I make videos about this because I like them, and I make them for people like me who like them, regardless of age.

Because of this, would your algorithm consider my content to be for children, despite the fact that it is for everyone and that large amount of adults (like me) enjoy it? Even if I can still monetize, I would still lose many functions and possibly get into legal trouble if the

algorithm deemed my assessment of my own target audience to be incorrect because of it being content about animation.
