Think one of my biggest pet peeves when telling someone you’re a YouTuber is the first question is always ‘if you don’t mind me asking, how much do you earn?’ Actually I do mind

Eh humans are just curious about the unknown. Most probably mean no harm and aren’t aware you may get asked that question a lot. It’s unfamiliar territory to most and they are curious about its ability to support because it’s interesting. No biggie, just info gathering small talk
Yea I agree. How often do you run into someone and they make a living on YouTube. People always ask that about a non traditional line of work
