i wrote a whole vampire visual novel when the only vampire media i have consumed is minimal amounts of vampire knight years ago, gankutsuou, castlevania sotn, and a season of buffy i do not remember with friends in college. the rest is a raging unending love for visual kei

however. when it is finished and released THEN i am allowed to feel mortified by my own unoriginality

because I keep getting asked. no i have not watched wwdits but i WILL after i finish and release this visual novel because i am on a vampire media cleanse. if this visual novel accidentally copies a piece of vampire media i have not seen i WILL feel pressured to change it

One thing about Val to note is that the guy doesn't say "I love you." it takes a LOT for him to say it. he is NOT built that way. But not me. I'm different. I love you, and I will drink your tears from a martini glass with a little paper umbrella, mascara chunks and all. 💘

Which brings me to another thing... The amount of people saying this visual novel is making them cry. from a DEMO! You're gonna make me so full of yourself if you keep saying Dash made you cry. For those of you with strong feelings on Dash? Dw,he's the baddest bitch in the story

- I want someone to talk to me the way he talks to Dash." When I've asked many of you to elaborate on this, nobody seems to talk about how romantic he is, but the space he gives Dash to express his emotions? Rave reviews. I love you all for noticing the effort put into that.

-to me that they would love to have a person like him in their life is... such a weird thing! It's not normally a sentiment you hear about a fictional character. it's usually "I want to kiss him" or "i want to marry him," jokingly. But Val's got a lot of "I want to KNOW him,-

If you played this demo, especially if you shared your thoughts with me on it, you are so wonderful and I'll probably never forget what you said about it. As much as this thing is just a visual novel, it is somewhere i threw all my talents at at once and built from scratch.
