Wonder why all the companies are only giving the token $1000.00. Why not raise the workers salaries? Disgusting how the companies are treating the American workers. They have had record breaking profits for years, but just now give the token $1000! Not all Americans R fooled!

NO, investing in American workers would be to make the $1000 a permanent raise, but that would require paying benefits based on the raise, so next year, no bonus to plan on, no better retirement, sick leave, maternity leave or health insurance. Some bonus.
