Today, President @realDonaldTrump led a discussion with the Governors of more than 50 States and territories & the Mayor of D.C. to provide an update from the WH Coronavirus Task Force & to continue the whole-of-government response to, preparation for, and mitigation of COVID-19.
Since January 2020, the Trump Administration has held at least 36 briefings with more than 15,000 State, local, and tribal leaders in every State and territory in the U.S. This unprecedented level of connectivity will continue.
If by “led a discussion” you mean “told the governors that they’re on their own,” then sure. The steady stream of self-congratulatory canards must cease.
