The taxpayers of LA should thank Trump. Getting the Olympics may be good for the local politicians and connected developers, but it is certainly not good for the City as a whole.
For the record, there were only two cities that bid for 2024 and 2028. Paris got 2024 and Los Angeles got the consolation prize. I’m sure Trump had lots to do with this.
