Uh, just to be clear (not that Sarah is big on facts), but if Hillary had won it would have been 4-4-1 court right now because she could never have gotten a liberal through the GOP Senate to replace Scalia, and Kennedy would not have retired yet.

SCOTUS are lifetime appointments because we didn't want the Supreme Court to be another political arm of our government. McConnell changed all that. So we need to remove the lifetime appointments.

Every couple of years the longest serving member should be replaced. Appointment should be made by Federal Judges from amongst their number, not politicians. That way they can be independent of party politics.

This is possibly one of the most openly ignorant statements on American politics ever. The SUPREME COURT should never be "conservative" or "liberal." It should be neutral, unbiased, and independent of the Presidency. Way to be openly transparent about your intentions.
