COIVID cases are up in some places (including DC)! But COVID hospitalizations & ICU admissions remain at all time lows. Why? The success of our vaccination and booster programs. If you have not yet gotten your shot aren't up to date on boosters, do it today!

Another bipartisan and bicameral step towards getting the Bipartisan Innovation Act to ’ desk. This is legislation that will advance our national security, boost domestic manufacturing, lower prices, and make our economy more resilient. It's time to get it done.

So, they are essentially manipulating it on their end including barring banks from selling dollars to customers; Russian brokerages are not allowing foreign clients to sell securities; exporters are being forced to sell 80 percent of their dollar revenues and buy rubles."

not actually at all the context of what I said-- full transcript-- "it's important to note that the Russian Central Bank is making extreme policy decisions to artificially prop up the ruble. So it's not actually on the rise. It is being artificially propped up by limitations..

Thread. A lot of questions about message on COVID.   His message is clear: COVID will continue to be with us. Cases will rise and fall. But we can now protect ourselves and get back to our more normal routines - if we stay prepared. And he has a 100-page plan doing that.

Hmmm.... the issue is NOT how this release compares the supply that REMAINS available, but rather, how this release closes the gap in supply caused by sanctions. And in that regard, it is a VERY substantial step.

BIG news today: - We're releasing 1 million barrels per day from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve - Instituting a "use it or lose it" policy for land leased by oil companies - Invoking Defense Production Act to speed the transition to clean energy AND MORE.

Today, four extreme and harmful bills were signed into law in Oklahoma and Arizona, three targeting transgender youth (2 AZ, 1 OK) and one reproductive health care (AZ). These laws are unacceptable and we won’t stop fighting for justice and equality.

Without more funding, will be unable to scale our efforts to train health workers & strengthen infrastructure abroad to support vaccinations. Low-income countries will suffer as vaccination efforts halt. I urge the U.S. Congress to act.

Actually, the biggest tax hike of the century would be the Senate GOP plan, which would be around $100 billion in 2022 alone. And while we would only make multi-millionaires & billionaires pay their fair share, your agenda from Sen. Rick Scott would slam half of all Americans.

We are appalled by the terrorist attack tonight near Tel Aviv and stand with our Israeli allies in the face of such barbarism. This is the third such attack in eleven days.  We have offered all relevant support to Prime Minister Bennett and his government.

It's no surprise that some conservatives don't think billionaires should pay their fair share. The real question is whether Congressional Republicans agree that's more important than cutting the deficit and investing in our troops, police, and families?
