I think public reaction on this issue must guide this government to do their work and stop this madness. Focus and work and stop this.

Has our VPByForce @fcmljallow1 turned into a YayiCompin? This type of ridiculousness should have left on that plane to Malabo. What’s there to celebrate about PLEDGES obtained from BEGGING? “Gumbo talna ludut teup tehn” This is an embarrassment! @BarrowPresident @AmieBSissoho

Why should Gambians come out to welcome a CIVIL SERVANT they elect and sent to represent them abroad! We didn’t anoint a king and such practices should be confined to the dustbin of history. It has no place in the new #Gambia.

Mate we have progressed beyond this level of sycophancy. Don't you want our country to progress? Imagine the economic loss generated from people uselessly lining the streets waiting and waving at the president. You should be ashamed of yourself. Shame on you! And your boss!

That’s what is expected of him. It’s about time we eradicate those ailments of regimental crest. He swore to work and heeds to constitutional rights so therefore I personally i disregards welcoming #president. It only happens in #TheGambia. I’m not welcoming.

We need to support our youths in Gunjur who are standing up for the destruction of their environment. They are now charged with 500,00 D. This government is violating #Humanrights and taking us back to Jammeh times. choose for our environment and future #gambia #developgambiapic.twitter.com/ifu4lzzPCw

That’s why if someone tells me #NewGambia I sometimes take it as a mere talk it doesn’t implies. We voted for system change not presidential change only but in whole. I’m urging the administration of #Barrow to respect the rights of a citizen especially the youths.

We call out on everyone to come out to the airport and protest against the massive environmental destruction and violation of #HumanRights in the Gambia among Gunjur Youths. Tell the president to look forward. Environment and Human rights first! @FlexDan_YT @EUinTheGambia

Delete this, you are getting roasted by your own people. This is not personal. People are just tired of this sycophancy, Jammeh style presidency. This will cost Barrow potential supporters too. In fact it’s tacky.

We can't keep going to the west for support, in my opinion there nothing to celebrate yet.We can do better by eliminating corruption in #Gambia invest heavily on women n children. We can't keep going to the west for handout,#Gambia has a huge potential to be a becon in #Africa.

See how we’re always architects of our own regression, always in d business of systematically making dictators of our representatives, inflating their egos, turning them into patriarchs who shower their benevolence on whom they will?
