The drill ship called Stena Drillmax arrived on site on Monday, 22nd October and after standard pre-drill operations, the well was successfully spudded on the 22nd October 2018, which means the initial start of the drilling of the test well.

This particular well will be drilled through 1,000 metres of water depth to a planned depth of approximately 3,100 metres.

Once again, the Ministry deems it important to re-emphasize that, the test well currently being drilled is an exploration well, meaning it is a well being drilled with the sole objective of finding out whether we have oil in that particular location or not.

It wasn't successful though. Maybe this will make your "sought for" licenses (of which two - A1 and A4 - are in a legal dispute in the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes) not so attractive? And maybe you're eagerness to invoke Apcls licenses declines..
