That's a step in the right direction. The next thing would be to ensure that the investigations into the matter are carried out as soon as possible with a view to bringing the perpetrators to account but most importantly to learn lessons

Barrow should be ashamed to visit this hospital. Look at the state of the hospital. Utterly disgusting. Shame on you and your government.

@BarrowPresident is simply a clueless & reactive leader! He never bothered to visit the hospital until this national tragedy unfolded! @Presidency_GMB urge the lackluster leader to become more assertive in his role!

If he act earlier, we wouldn’t have been where we are today. Those killed are Gambians youth. The one who struggled to put in where he’s today. So give us a break. Why didn’t he go to the village and see for himself what on ground. Gambians have lose confidence in you.

The president has ministers and other heads in each sector. You don’t expect him to be doing their work to be present every where.

First he sents paramilitary there, and now he is observing the damage caused by his own actions. If this government had a focus on protecting our environment none of this would ever happened. Lets hope these victims will open the eyes of our president concerning the environment
