Good that @BarrowPresident is taking the initiative to privately contribute 10% of his monthly salary to the #Gambia’s #NDP, however, it’ll be great if the public knows how much you & your cabinet are paid & if necessary for the public to debate for a pay cut of the cabinet.

Jammeh was giving out liquid cash not only pledging part salary and he end up owning all of us in a sense, once a president is not challenge and is seen as the saviour with praises from all corners then he cannot held responsible, we must avoid the Jammeh mantra at all cost

Its not about money people, but about sustainable management and how to invest wisely. Our environment is facing heavy times with this government. A coastline of 50 km cannot have 5 fishmeal factories. Fish stocks are collapsing, market has no fish sometimes. #developgambiapic.twitter.com/iBmvdaeOeA

it’s a sign of how badly capitalism and the glorification of the gig economy has warped everyone’s minds that this is seen as commendable and not an absolute disgrace that somebody was so overly paid. His ten percent pay cut is way higher than the average wage of the electorates

Fish stocks are collapsing, there is shortage on the market for first time in history. This has to stop! #developgambiapic.twitter.com/9Kt3poCiux

How much is your salary?? Fellow Gambian be reasonable! You can't compare any president salary with an ordinary job salary. In fact he is one the lowest paid president in the world. Some Gambians makes more money than him. Our focus should be fighting corruptions everywhere.

Most business owners make more than the president. We all should put our focus and energy into creating business opportunities for our people in Gambia. We Gambians knows well how to criticize but fall short in giving concrete solutions. We all should fight against quid quo pro.
