I have a question @TeamYouTube, I have 17k subscribers, but only like 500 of them watch my videos. Most are new subscribers too. How come I only get 1/34 of my fan base actually watching my videos? It really hurts

It's probably because You make views about trending topics, for example PewDiePie vs Tseries So people subscribe not because they like you or your content but because they like PewDiePie vs tseries

This could probably be fixed by engaging with your audience more. It's like the algorithm can't just kill PewDiePie, because people actually like him (not to be rude, I'm subbed to you)

Maybe "engage" isn't the right term. I've heard channels with different types of content perform not as well as channels with a specific type of content. Like most of your videos are about current memes / trends / popular topics like Minecraft (Read next Tweet)

But "why YouTube is going to die" is different then "recreating PewDiePies world" because someone could've subbed for youtube dying but hates Minecraft, so they don't watch the new ones. The final issue actually happened to
