agreed difficulty over the path of torghast and limitations on builds by class are way more important issues to torghast than torment. Working on those 2 should increase the variety of experiences of play whereas these torments are limitations.

I haven't tried Torghast, but I can't help but wonder if this is a fix to an aspect of the system we haven't seen yet. I think Torments may exist to stop the "Perfect Group" from getting rewards too quickly. I.E. Getting the perfect run and getting legos too quickly.

The thing is, after a while, the "Waiting for all your cooldowns" doesn't matter because the cooldowns become pretty short anyway.

Who cares if someone spends 10 minutes between pulls waiting for bloodlust. That sounds like such a boring way to try to game the system. It certainly doesn't need a counter, those players just won't get groups.
