I know I'm a little late in sharing these, but I thought I'd share for those who are still not aware.
Again, these are my learning, some might disagree with it and that is fine😇
Also, what has been your most significant takeaway from 2022?

Not everything you buy/do works out
I always worried about getting my money's worth when buying new gadgets or trying new restaurants.
But I learned that sometimes it's just an experiment to learn more about yourself.
and never know what could turn into a conversation starter.

📱 Grow your social just as much as you grow professionally.
The more people know about you, the higher your chances of having unique experiences—chatting with them, working together or learning from each other.
All this leads to amazing opportunities!

💰 Money earned depends on how well you can sell yourself rather rather than how much you know or how skilled you are.
The market works on show biz, if you don't showcase yourself, no one will know your value.

⏰ Good things take time - We might think we can do great stuff faster than others, but in reality it takes time to build products, design & even our bodies.
Rather than hacking our way around, iterate and be consistent, you will automatically move close to perfection.

To summarize, the goal of a designer should be to bring the best of a product to the stage.
If your design/idea does not translate into a good product, you should consider participating more in the product development cycle.
It also makes you Recession-Proof.

To gain more power as a designer, I always advise any designers to delve deeper into the product development cycle.
Be part of brainstorming session when your PM is making the PRD
Talk to developers in CSS/Code terms when they are developing your design.

The next major move for any of these companies would be to deploy prototypes on actual links. Consider sites for scalable products.
You can build the entire experience on Figma, make it responsive, and deploy it to a testing link with a single click.

"More power to the Designer" - I have always believed in this phrase.
To me It means that any tool or task that gives designers more control in the cycle of product development will result in a superior product.

Have seen Rahul's journey since he first joined . He has grown 100 times since then, we have built together, traveled together, and trust me, he is one of the nicest guys I know. Extremely humble and at times dark😶
Go read his 2022 journey and be inspired, bitch.

Building something incredible at @0xPolygon

Any guesses?
It has 10000+ rectangles, few shades of purple and killer motion design. And yes it's my best work so far. Can't wait to release it.
