Not really. It was about the Post deciding to publish despite the injunction against the Times and the potential legal battle they would later face. It arguably took more guts for a then smaller regional paper to risk what the Times had more resources to fight.

The Post standing with the Times against the injunction and fighting to publish the papers arguably had more impact than if the Post had decided to not publish. That's the beauty of The Post. It focused on their risk and the solidarity of the press.
