decaying is definitely not the right word, but Pittsburgh has been losing population for 60+ year, and lost population again last year

Agree on pop decline, but to compare Pgh to Janesville or Youngstown is bonkers IMO. Pgh is quite different & much larger.

agreed, apples & oranges comparison, Pgh economy is not tied to one plant, like Janesville, and Youngstown has trouble attracting investment
