It is not a good day for Lina Khan and the FTC. Look like she won’t be getting that funding anytime soon.
IDC chair states that there are some that question if Lina authority should strip or even exist at all I think that’s in reference to the entirety of the FTC.

-6b studies that were done and never concluded. All while continuing to lose in federal court.
-This is not what success looks like when consumers have reportedly lost 9 billion dollars to scams in 2022 a 30% increase from the previous year. Over a half billion in my state of Florida alone.
-Instead of focusing on Bidens agenda prioritize the resources we give you to help vulnerable Americans. Sadly we’ve raised these concerns before, but the FTC has been unwilling to answer questions regarding its decision making on multiple matters.
-You block us out but you’re asking for a budget increase. How does one justify this when we here that staff has been diverted from mission critical functions and pulled from bureaus to focus on merger reviews👀
