This was a roaring success. Had a map of Elizabethan London on the board and tracked the Chamberlain’s Men’s journey-along with all the key locations- as we read. Audible groan when we finished.

Uncomfortable truth: For a while I didn’t enjoy being a Dad. Comfortable truth: Everyday now, I am staggered to the point of tears, about just how much I love this little girl.

I am a teacher in a film and my classroom is in the basement and I realise that the real way to engage these horrible kids (who love making paper airplanes by the way) is to make them realise they’re all professional level singers and dancers. I wear a leather jacket.

Going to teach year 8 about ‘Locus’, ‘Platea’ and Shakespearean Comedies as acting as luminal spaces between these two zones. Wish me luck.

I open all my Shakespeare units with a reading of the Prologue from Shapiro’s ‘1599’. Can’t wait to thrill year 8 with this, first thing tomorrow.

I think schools should go as far as to encourage staff to use school exercise facilities when it suits them and provide adequate showers to make this possible.

Hi - enjoyed your talk for the GEP this morning. I was hoping for a Q and A session, but alas, time didn’t allow it. Mind if I ask you a question?

Dear Mr Pink, I’ve made it very clear to my staff that challenge is ok but would be a clear indicator that their thoughts don’t align with mine. And, I’ve explained that I lead this school & therefore if their thoughts don’t align, it’s probably time for them to check out TES.

I’m also a big fan of walking through doors, looking anxiously back over my shoulder before looking ahead with steely determination as I make to remove my tie. Yes. When I walk through doors, I am Superman.

Hello, I'm a professor in a movie, I only reach the main point of my lecture right as class is ending. Then I yell at students about the reading / homework as they leave.
