As someone who just recently understood what the heck is happening with GameStop stocks stuff... Freezing buying options right now seems super sleeze balls. I ask - what are people who are buying doing that's so wrong that they cant buy more? I literally don't get it.

If people buy and hold, the hedge funds are fucked, so brokers froze the buys so people would panic sell, and the price would crash, saving the hedge funds. That's exactly what's happening. What was "Wrong" was hedge funds were going to lose money because peasants played the game

It's only Robinhood. I was always skeptical of the app because I figured they didn't fall under the same regulation as your standard brokerage firm, but then I just sound old. It's the hip trading app for people that don't know what a stock is.
