The ad potential change on twitch is quite annoying. Twitch is saying they want more ad revenue but don't want to give streamers further incentives to push the button. So instead of finding out why streamers don't push that button more or how they could be incentivized to [1/2]
to do so, they are forcing it instead on viewers of the platform. They way they should have approached this, imo, is to find out why streamers aren't pushing the ad button and try to incentivize it more. Smh my head dude
I feel like twitch could 5x the streamers’ share of ad revenue and they’d still be taking the lions share. I wonder if something like that could appease everyone
Im not gonna pretend I know the perfect answer, but communication is what seems to be key in these types of situations, which Twitch atm is not doing very well
