First, we will begin the work to extend our use of Audible Magic to identify existing clips that may contain copyrighted music and delete them for you without penalty. Over the coming months, this will cover newly created clips as well.

Second, we are building the ability to delete all of the clips on your channel more easily–stay tuned for an update in a few weeks when that’s ready. You can already choose to disable the creation of new clips in your channel settings here: https://link.twitch.tv/myChannelSettings …

There is a lot of misinformation circulating about how to protect your channel. While deleting or disabling clips can help, if you don’t have the rights to music you are at risk of a takedown request from rights holders.

This applies even if you’re just playing it in the background or for a few seconds – It is entirely within the rights holder's discretion if and when to issue takedown notifications.

We value the work of songwriters, musicians, and other creative artists. As a company committed to supporting creators, we respect, and ask our users to respect, the intellectual property of those who make music and those who own or control music rights.

This doesn't answer anyone's concerns at all. All this does is say you'll be doing the bare minimum, which everyone thought you were doing before this. What about claims Vs. strikes, what about changing the number of strikes, what about strikes coming off channels.

It's going around that the strike system is platform dependent, so the three strikes thing is on you. How about taking care of your creators, since you let everyone play just dance on stream when they can lose their channel over it and they didn't even realize.
