Quite honestly I can't afford the copays to see my doctor now, not having the anxiety and stress on top of my medical issues would be a game changer no matter which doctor I get to see.

A catch22 question. There will obviously be people who lose their doctor over this time, and irrespective of the reason it will come back to this moment and this question. He’s right to not answer it.

you know that isn't a thing - when lots of people go on Medicare they don't necessarily keep their doctor from before Medicare maybe asking that question is incendiary to the thousands of people who yearn for any damn dr/care and the thousands that die w/o care

it's "well can my kid still go to the same mostly white school"? maybe but we are trying this whole desegregation thing out and that means reshuffling the deck a bit - there is a chance that not everyone is comfy having that happen comfort does not out weigh everything

Here's a better question: in our current system, how many people will be forced to have different doctors within the next year due to losing insurance or being forced to change insurance? Answer: a bunch

Do you know what "for all" means? There seems to be some confusion on this point. Yes. Your doctor will take Medicare under a Medicare For All system. Because any doctor who doesn't is, um, not going to exist.

Well, doctors could maybe move to another country. Or there might be some way for them to get out of it, but no one would know at this point. Definitely a gotcha question, asked by a 2nd rate talking head. Meh.
