    Since the Tam case was basically an argument among the justices about just how stupid-wrong the government was, it's possible they took this case to push Tam even further and dunk even HARDER on the government, which would be magnificent.

    Extending a federal grand jury’s term is not unusual. I would say it’s routine. When it’s a grand jury convened for a specific purposes, it shows the supervising judge is satisfied that the job isn’t done yet. But it’s not a very rigorous test.

  21. NEW IN THE RUSSIA INVESTIGATION: The chief judge of the DC District Court has extended the term of the grand jury used by Mueller for indictments. They were set to expire Jan. 6. Now could sit for up to 6 more months.
