With quiet but devastating regularity, zombie debt notices are arriving at the homes of tens of thousands across the US – courtesy of the government and with the assistance of heavyweight tech companies.

In *Trauma and Recovery,* Judith Herman calls PTSD caused by sexual assault and abuse "the combat neurosis of the sex war." She writes, "The traumas of one are the traumas of the other. The hysteria of women and the combat neurosis of men are one."

All discussion of racial wealth gaps is GOOD. But to clarify: the limitation of the standard graphic is that it uses median wealth, which hides very extreme differences of wealth *inside* racial categories. I'm looking more nuanced data/images. Thanks!

The classic image of the racial wealth gap is so useful for teaching and organizing around race and economic inequality. But I'm wondering if anyone had ever broken it down by quintiles. Does the racial wealth gap look different in the poorest quintile?

Would you have a child just to get an extra $70/month in govt aid? No, right? Well, Virginia currently thinks the above is true & so we have "family caps". This prevents parents from receiving TANF aid for add'l kids born. I spoke in favor of 's bill to repeal this.
