A Pope has to follow the rules of evidence and just action. If there are hundreds of abusers, it would take a long time for the Church to go through due process. The resources of the government are needed. We have to met justice, not the Church. They must not stand in the way.

The Church is not authorized to “undergo due process”. Hand over the rapists to local, secular law enforcement. The Church is not law enforcement, it is a criminal organization.

I didn't say they were, actually argued the opposite. The Pope doesn't have the resources to examine every case and be the judge. He'll need to let the courts do it.
