With all your due respect Pope Francis, there is testimony out there that you and many other higher officials in the church knew about all these abuses since 2013 and did nothing about. If this is true and you really love the church please do the right thing and step down!

Disgusting. This isn't just some sin your magical powers can wash away. This is criminal. This is abuse. This is assault. On CHILDREN. Permanent, violent trauma. How dare you pray for forgiveness and pretend it isn't going to continue occurring as it always has?
-
This is both abuse and a sin and Jesus respected the law of his time and so should we. Francis can only say so much in a tweet. Give him a break
-
He gave 3 speeches in Ireland over 2 days and never ONCE apologised. It’s a disgrace. It’s not a sin it’s a CRIME

Since your blessed mother didn't do anything to prevent this terrible events from happening in the first place it's safe to assume she won't do much else now. Resigns and turn yourself and all the criminals you've protected to justice. Now. NOW!

Following pledge to survivors, Pope Francis humbly asks for forgiveness for abuses carried out by members of the church
#WMOF2018 Let's ask our Blessed Mother to intercede for the healing of the survivors of abuse#PopeInIrelandpic.twitter.com/c4IRmiqckR -
The Pope’s gesture was both unprecedented and unexpected. It came during the Penitential Rite, the moment within Mass when the celebrant and faithful acknowledge their sins, repent, and ask for mercy and forgiveness.pic.twitter.com/c4IRmiqckR

Or you could instruct every member of your church to immediately report potential crimes to the authorities, and those that do not comply will be excommunicated.
-
This was already done and ignored by this Pope. This is a systemic issue.

Never mind asking the bloody Blessed Mother to intercede! If you want to show you're serious, YOU intercede; you bring the justice; you bring the healing; you compensate, you punish the offenders, disband your filthy organisation; stop telling lies and face reality.
