I love you Pope, but sometimes it’s not always between a man and a woman... and there is unconditional love. That is family. Amen

So why not give women equal power and rights in the church,
@Pontifex? Sounds like we’re pretty essential to God’s vision of the world. -
Women are equal to man, Jesus teaches so: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27 See every person is equal and a child of the Lord.

So that’s why there are so many women in leadership positions in the church? Just offering lip service about equality doesn’t actually remedy any power imbalance.
-
Dear Kate, just wanted you to know that the angst that women feel is unique to America. They don't feel the same way in Europe.
-
First, I can guarantee that’s not true. Second, this is yet another method men use to shut women down. Maybe try it on a European woman and see if you have any more success.
-
I'm not sure that you really understand that women in Europe do not feel that they are second class citizens just because they can not become priests.
-
Oh, really? You’ve talked to every woman in Europe about this? I’ll reserve judgement until you have better evidence than an unsupported generalization.
-
Huh Europe? The Is not responsible for the every Country in Europe lol didn't say that, just that God made all people equal, doesn't mean every leader in the world will respect God's Law, especially the currupt EU, so you'll need to aim your complaints towards them now, I'll pray

Love you, but times they are a changin' and the church cannot live in the past. When threatened with extinction you either move, adapt, or die. Time for the church to move and adapt.
-
The Church never changes, society changes. The Church is our anchor.
-
And what an anchor against positive progress it have proven to be, time and time again.
-
What positive progress pls?
-
General tolerance and acceptance?
-
Oh. Been there done that. Catholic Church already does that.
