I like you, but this a tone-deaf tweet. It even sounds like when you are referring to “family” you are speaking about the Catholic Church, not families who have been hurt by said Church.

Respectfully, Holy Father, how many families, natural & spiritual, have been damaged or silenced by Church leaders still in high office who've preyed on their children or young men or enabled others to do so? The #PeopleofGod need REAL accountability & penitence, not boilerplate.

Holy father is how the world and mostly Catholics refer to the Pope. No one is suggesting he is God and doesn't violate anything in the Bible. Dig a little bit before these kind of comments
