No one was born evil because God created all of us "In His Image", and therefore inheriting goodness. Therefore we cannot say, "Mr. X. is bad." However, we can only condemn one's ACTIONS as bad. Since we have freewill, there are times when we do not choose God.

Any action that is classified as evil, as sin, does not pertain to God as God is all good. We chose that pay ourselves. However we will all be judged upon our actions by God on the Last Day.

But why does God let bad things happen? Some reasons. First we were given free will to do what is either right or wrong. If we did not live with free will, all our actions would have to be controlled by God.
