TLDR: the headline isn't some political agenda pushing bullshit but is actually summing up the game's world and lore, a futuristic version of earth where empires didn't exist.

Doing god's work.

This is really cool, but it seems like colonizing an alien planet is a central component of the lore? Which is fine, that doesn't make it any less interesting or worthwhile, it just seems to contradict the headline.
-
Or it could be the back story is more complicated than the article could reasonably explain!. Either way, it looks like a really cool world to play in!

Did the people who made this not know any history at all? The main plot for humans being in space, is that their a colonialist fleet from the empire of Mali. They practiced slavery, conquered others and dominated the African continent.
-
What does that have to do with this article and game?

the world of Mother Lands looks really nice to live in, but how exactly can you play a game in it? the world is perfect, how can conflict arise? I get everyone wants to live in a peaceful world at this point, but that really doesn't transfer into a game.

There's a lot of star trek episodes that don't use political conflict at all. Trying to rescue people from a time loop or curing a space illness that's making people violent. There's still a whole lot of room to write interesting stories.
