Is your jail hurricane proof? I can understand the need to enforce outstanding warrants..but someone w/unpaid tickets shdnt be facing Irma

It is a safe & secure facility. Warrants aren't issued for traffic offenses in FL.

What about failures to appear on traffic tickets or driving on a suspended license? No warrants?

Yes warrants are issued for a Failure to Appear. Anyone with a warrant should have cleared that up days ago prior to this storm hitting.

So are you stating officially that anyone with a warrant to appear because of traffic tickets will be jailed if they are at a shelter?

I would think that under emergency situations that result in sheltering large numbers of people, the ID law would hold up.
