I was just in line today to vote in Texas. It was a 40 min line and each time a first time voter got to the front of the line, the election officials announced that they are first-timers and clapped. It happened maybe two dozen times while I was there
Turnout among 18-29 year olds, compared to 2014 early voting:

- FL +131%
- GA +415% (!!!)
- MI +128%
- NV +364%
- TN +767% (!!!)
- TX +448% (!!!)

Serious question and I hate that I’m asking it, but Tennessee. That has to be at least in part of
@taylorswift13.@PhilBredesen is not an inspiring candidate to young voters, so something is driving them to vote. -
As a high school student from Tennessee, I know a lot of kids at my school are excited with Bredesen. I'm not sure it's because he's Bredesen, but more that he's not Blackburn though.

The first time I voted was in 2004. I just turned 18 the month before and I woke up at 4am because I wanted to vote as soon as I could. I never had a better feeling in life. I still get excited on election day as I make my way to the polls and wear my sticker proudly.
