Building a diverse team and enabling them to be successful inside an overall-less-diverse organization has a lot in common with activism. And I think it's subject to the same sort of burnout that you see in the activism community.

What kind of diversity? What makes you think the current organization isn't diverse? Because in tech, the only diversity that matters is intellectual diversity.

I do believe it. Why don't you? Changing the paint or print on a echo chamber's walls doesn't stop it from being one. I'd much rather be hired for my ideas than to be a team's token queer.
