I didn’t take long I’ve heard smaller hospitals have been doing this for well over a week

I had a Drs appointment a week ago Thursday. Called for test results this past Wednesday, no response from the nurse, called back Thursday to be told that the nurses hours are being cut.

Back in 1992, my then 2-yr-old niece went to Mayo for cancer treatment (chemo/radiation and then surgery). Really sad to see this - they're a world-class organization. (BTW, she'll be 30 in May and has a 3-yr-old son).

The build up of patients who need “elective” surgery (which includes total knee, cervical spine, etc) is HUGE. Some surgeons are still seeing patients, though at a much lower #, and they all had full schedules leading up to this. It will take 6 plus months to catch up.
