To the homies on the left that are fighting to get capitalists and profiteers out of our healthcare system, WHILE pushing for a free market for capitalists to profit off of women and femmes trading sex for cash (aka full decrim): do you even hear yourselves?

  5. Kobe’s death has its own unique meaning for Filipinos. Basketball is the de facto nat’l sport of the Philippines. It’s how Filipino kids find acceptance as immigrants. Growing up in LA at that time, we didn’t really have our own heroes. We had Kobe. We loved Kobe. Nonetheless:

  6. Women prisoners in Hawaii have had to make their own tampons. Forget the law. Who is the worse offender? The woman who steals to eat or the government official who denies basic human rights to ppl in state custody? System failures are about a lack leadership, not lack of money.

  8. Everything Filipino-Americans learn about the Philippines is either a lie or a survival technique by our grandparents and great grandparents who both lived through separate genocides and a fulltilt colonial education system.

  10. Hatred of women still acceptable this many years later... There’s a market for breast milk in our local sex industry in Hawaii. We directly from sex trafficking survivors about having to sell milk to adult men. Every part of the body sold to meet every male fetish & fantasy.

  13. The US & Japan leveled 613 city blocks, w/ 90% destruction levels. We lost our national library & national museum (550,000 books + 2,500 paintings), Supreme Court library, science & hospital records. After liberation, some Filipinos spat on the 1st American soldiers they saw.
