  on this day my Great Grandma Stanislawa Podolanska saw her country stabbed in the back by the Russians and her home in Skalat saw the invadors. Little did she know that in less than 6 months she would be on a cattle truck her husband & family male member disappeared

  When Nazis invaded, Polish government abandoned the country and ran away, thus making it a non player in international relations before the USSR entered western Ukraine and Western Belarus. And lets not forget that Poland happily participated in Munich Betrayal in 1938
