Agreed, kind of feel Bait-And-Switched since the "Let's Go" games seem nothing like a "core game" and more like a hybridization spinoff aimed at converting Go players into actual core series players.

I mean think about it. Pokemon GO was the first step to attract people to the IP and create awareness again. Let's Go introduce those player to an hybrid so they can become familiar with some core concepts knowing already about the GO concepts.

Bro both are "real core RPGs". Only quest is a spin off. Lets Go is basically Yellow remake and Gen 8 will be next year

Let's Go is a spin off with no wild pokemon battles and pokemon GO mechanics. 2019 will be a core game with battles and such.

But i legit saw them battle wild pokemon in the trailer or im tripping? I think the Pokemon GO stuff is optional you dont have to use it.

There's wild Pokemon like in GO, you don't battle them, just throw.

hmmmm i see i see. Well its to bring more fans to the switch who plays GO then Game Freak will hit us with Gen 8 next year with all these new fans. Its brilliant marketing. GO is required so im ok with this. Its just a tease for the real thing
