Classical liberals want to produce more freedom and give it to everyone (unjustified lack of freedom = oppression). Progressive leftism seems to understand freedom as a limited resource, so it has to be redistributed (unjustified surplus of freedom = privilege). Discuss.

Elitism is the byproduct of “progressive” left because of their over obsession with perceived inequality. Classic liberals don’t have any sense of responsibility when flaunting freedom. Freedom is not a resource, but a perception of one’s limitations. Absolute freedom is a myth.

I think freedom is the absence of constraints that you cannot justify for yourself.
