Perhaps the problem in my organism is that my brain has been doing its job for long enough? Perhaps I should ask the bladder to do admin for a while? :)

IRL, we have a similar problem if we disentangle expertise and responsibility of the individual from the job. The main problem is not that people in institutions have a too long time horizon, but it is too short. And countries with term limits don't seem to be run better!

Notice that many successful democracies don't have term limits for their leaders, the US is more an outlier than the rule.
