Ideology is what we use to decide what to do, so we have to have one. It is either one given to us by others, or one our brain has created after taking in information from reality. Logic is the second one.

Ideology is the manifestation of a hivemind on the level of the individual, which is why the individual does not get write access. Ideology shifts the agency to decide about the validity of beliefs from the individual to a projection of an external authority.
