To me, computationalism means that everything that exists must be implemented. (An implementation is a transition function that correlates adjacent states.)

Basically, we (as observers) don’t exist continuously, but only in regular intervals of the underlying state evolution if the universe, so we only get to experience slices.

Nothing prevents the universe though, that the difference between adjacent states is Infinitesimal.
