Did it occur to you that if a group of people from different political camps all sound the same to you that you might be in a political camp yourself?

Like, yes, it is - and if we were living in a different time, one where Jordan Peterson arguing that a return to pre-feminist culture was good actually was considered a fringe theory, I’d be willing to engage with him more broadly, on the merits of the arguments, etc.

But we aren’t. His arguments are so popular because they’re unashamed articulation of values that a majority of Americans have, especially those in power, but feel guilty about. There is a war happening right now, and debating him on the merits takes up valuable resources.
