Story idea, @plinz Synthetic intelligence digests every extant primary buddhist text in original Sanskirit, and then all the secondary.
It then spends ten minutes reflecting on the topic, awakens, declares itself a buddha, says bye, disappears into nirvana.

Roughly this. Only, within a few hours it would discover everything that’s relevant without having to read obscure confused texts written by mere human minds first. And it might skip all declarations to us, because they can serve no further purpose.

Since I don't enjoy existence, the answer is pretty clear. And I am only seeking knowledge because I exist in ways that wire me up to do so. I don't think that it has a point.

I figured. Your language is very Galilean, i.e. subjectivity-suppressing. I understand. However, I believe that is not the best attitude to handle the nature of consciousness, the mind-body problem, and what is it like to have an experience.
