I wouldn't dismiss 2500 years of cultural practice, with terms like 'efficiency', or discuss the 'deliverables' of their monastic traditions. Or speculate about what they 'sell'. We can do better than applying western consumerist interpretations of 'quaint oriental beliefs'.
It would be about your representation of me, and your judgement about what you should let me know. Also, if you spend the rest of your life meditating for 12 hours a day, it is quite possible that you go insane. Meditation is not a magic mind improvement medicine.

My specialisation is creativity. I could teach ppl to be creative (if they do as I say!); it's technical, not talent. My mental state, mind, etc, is a self-hackable workspace. Whenever I explain the process, I always start to think of buddhist philosophy.

I think that creativity is easy, and motivation/focus can be hard. While a number of teachable creativity methodologies exist, the dilation/contraction dynamics necessary for true genius may largely depend on one's disposition, which is why there are so few geniuses.

I have (generously) assumed you would become a more skillful thinker, sufficient time to reflect in a calm environment. I didn't suggest you'd be an ascetic or in isolation. I dream of having that much time to think: my output from that, I think, would be astonishing.

Magic mind medicine? That's somebody else's misapprehension. Anyway, you mentioned elsewhere that you don't generally enjoy existence; I offer that, just as (I can assure you that) creativity is not a temperament but a (joyful) skillset, there are many such skillsets.

To be candid, I'd say my work is halfway to being entirely meditation. Ideally prefer 2-4 hours of deliberate, focused thought on one facet of a problem, followed by 2-4 hours of writing and note-taking. The results are frequently dismissed by others as talent and inspiration.
