Which are not necessarily bad intentions, and they are usually instrumental, not terminal. I suspect that our disagreement might come down to virtue ethics vs. consequentialism?

One particular difficult problem is how to act on incomplete information. Eg, if I am unhappy with the status quo and therefore destabilize a flawed government, but instead of bringing forth a just world, I am causing a breakdown of social order and civil war, did I act morally?

I am not even sure we are disagreeing. I was only disturbed by "let the professionals worry about it" part.- this is dangerous.
