This Lawrence Krauss business is a good example of the fundamental attribution error.
There are way more good psychologists than good physicists. The greatest expertise in one field sometimes comes at the expense of competence in all the others. Most psychologists are unbelievably bad at physics.

We definitely need a reformation in physics. And I suspect it is much better to let Krauss help with that than to retrain him, even though psychology is important.
