Contemplating: what contains less style information, the written word "word" or the spoken word "word"?

The spoken word "word" is probably closer to its meaning, but then it is loaded with all the style of the speaker's voice.

Also, is the variance in individual subjective sound interpretation larger than in visual interpretation? For instance, perfect pitch will relate sound to an absolute frame, whereas relative pitch represents sounds with respect to a local baseline.
