For those who dislike or feel threatened by Jordan Petersen, I would like to hear why.

I personally think he's a charlatan, I know it's a harsh term but his whole narrative is just empty rhetoric. It sounds nice, gives false hope, but inapplicable gimmicks. And now it's monetized too.

More than this, I think his confidence in linking MBTI traits with absolutely anything and everything is also misleading sophistry.

MBTI? I thought he is a standard personality psychologist (with a few Jungian narratives). It would surprise me if he endorses the MBTI. Do you have a source?

Oh yeah, I was thinking of the Big 5 but was talking about MBTI earlier (e.g. he talks about the higher prevalence of agreeableness amongst women -> cause of pay gap). Thanks for pointing that out! I have no idea what he thinks about MBTI?

The Big 5 are seen as quite solid by psychologists, MBTI not so much. Peterson's claim is that higher agreeableness is responsible for lower pay (amongst other factors) in woman AND men, but more women have higher agreeableness, both of which appears to be supported by stats.
