I should ask a very silly question due to my non-scientific background. I promise I'll dive into STEM disciplines very soon. Are neurons (or any body cells) absolutely unable to detect electric or magnetic fields?

They can do that of course, but is it plausible that our brains can learn how to pick up and decode stray electromagnetic emissions from the nervous systems of very specific other people over very large distances?
